Biography

Michelle Schurig Willis grew up in Alaska, hunting, fishing, hiking, and snowboarding in the most beautiful scenery on earth. She moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University where she graduated with honors. She received a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Utah where she did extensive research on the influence of mothers and romantic partners on the ongoing healing of adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She is passionate about helping people overcome difficult challenges and obstacles that are preventing them from reaching their highest potential. Michelle draws from a rich background and many life experiences to help people overcome their struggles. She understands the pain and heartache of career-ending sports injuries, difficult relationship issues, familial dysfunction and abuse. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother to 5 amazing children. She also finds joy and healing in sewing/crafting and photography.
