Thomas Ash, LCSW

With over 7 years of intensive inpatient treatment experience at the Utah State Mental Hospital, Tommy specializes in supporting adolescents aged 7-17. His background as a family mediator, stockbroker, church volunteer, and other shapes his approach to therapy, emphasizing safety and transparency as key to successful family and individual interventions. Tommy is well versed in many therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), attachment-based family therapy, CBT, & TF-CBT (trauma CBT). He is described as fun, energetic, kind, joyful, wise, and understanding of many diverse family and individual circumstances, and many describe him as a pleasure to work with. Tommy also has a knack for working with youth and is usually found conversing, joking, discussing boundaries, and teaching important life and therapeutic lessons. Tommy received a master's degree from Brigham Young University in social work and received his undergraduate degree in behavioral science with an emphasis in psychology.
