Nicole Ballard RN, BSN

Nicole is a psychiatric nurse at Imperial Healing House whose path into mental health care began long before she entered the profession. As a teenager, Nicole battled a terminal illness that required chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant — an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of what it means to fight for your life, and how much the right support can change everything. During her own recovery, therapy became a turning point — not just for her, but for her entire family — and it planted the seed for a career dedicated to that same kind of impact. Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Provo College and began her career as a medical-surgical nurse at Utah Valley Hospital, where she gained broad clinical experience across complex medical cases. That foundation informs her sharp clinical eye today, but it's psychiatric nursing where she has found her true calling. She brings deep empathy and attentiveness to every patient, and finds profound fulfillment in watching each girl's personality emerge as she gains stability, insight, and confidence in herself. Outside of work, Nicole's greatest joy is her husband and their three children. Together they love cooking, camping, and exploring new places.
