Biographies
Rebecca Jackson, LCSW
Rebecca graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She later returned to the University of Utah and received her Master's in Social Work to fulfill her dream of becoming a therapist. From an early age, Rebecca has had an interest in human behavior and knew she wanted to work in the mental health field. Rebecca has a passion for working with individuals and families. She strives to recognize everyone as their own unique individual and believes there is great power in validating our experiences and creating self-acceptance. Rebecca has over 12 years of experience working in mental health, working in a wide variety of settings and clients. Rebecca has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults suffering from eating disorders, anxiety, depression and healing from trauma. Other areas include working with children/teens who have experienced trauma, living both in and out of state custody, and teaching caregiving skills to birth parents, foster parents and adoptive parents. Additionally, she has worked with adolescent sex offenders, pornography addiction and substance abuse.
