What to expect when your daughter comes to Imperial

The transition is hard, for your daughter and for you. During her first days, our team focuses on helping her feel safe. She'll meet her individual therapist, get settled into her room, and begin building trust with staff and peers. There's no pressure to dive deep right away. We meet her where she is.

Within the First Week, Our Clinical Team Completes a Thorough Assessment and Builds a Treatment Plan Tailored Specifically to your Daughter.

A Typical Week

Your daughter's week is structured but not rigid. It includes:

2x per week with her primary therapist

Life skills

cooking classes with our in-home chef, community involvement, daily living skills

Group Therapy

Daily process groups, DBT skills groups

Family therapy

weekly sessions with your family

Daily, Cognia-accredited, small class sizes

With only 16 beds, your daughter will never be a number. Our staff-to-student ratio means your daughter gets the individualized attention she needs and the treatment team that knows her story inside and out.

We Heal Families, Not Just Teens

Most RTCs focus on the adolescent. We focus on the entire family system. Weekly family therapy, regular parent communication, and our Parent Empowerment Classes give you the tools to rebuild trust, improve communication, and support your daughter's growth long after she comes home.
